Becky,
We can't believe that it has been a whole week since Abby came to live with us. She has adjusted well and is sleeping through the night(with a little music for comfort). Base has become a big daddy to her and absolutely loves her and we are so relieved, expecting the worst from him. I have attached a few pictures of her, with our son CJ and with Base. Today was hot enough to go swimming and though she wasn't in the pool, we put her on a raft toy for a little ride. If she is anything like our previous cocker spaniel, she will be swimming next summer.
We will send you updated pictures in a few months when she has grown a little more.
Say hi to her parents for us and hope all is well with you and Ron.

Grammy gave me a haircut last Friday. I moved my head at the wrong time and lost some of my dark, long eyelashes, but I'm still beautiful. Grampy says I look a lot like my mom now. My red undercoat really shows pretty now.
I'm eight weeks old now, and my sable is really pretty on my ears. Grampy thinks I'm pretty neat, and Grammy thinks I'm the smartest in the bunch. Don't tell the other pups. We don't want to make them feel bad.
I was born first. Grampy was glad when I started squeeking. The facts are... I am beautiful and a little cuddler.
Right now, my coat is red sable and white like my mom's coat. My ears are real dark.
