The main cabin is having an addition of a bathroom, laundry room, a sitting room with a large picture window, and bedroom. We are really looking forward to having a modern functional bathroom to replace the outhouse shown above.
Front porch
The original front porch was removed and replaced.
Tongue and groove planks were added to the porch ceiling. We are almost finished with adding rock around the support posts.
New addition
The outside framing is complete.
We finished adding the screen under the overhang and the T1-11 sheeting.
The inside framing is almost complete. Production was put on hold during the wedding festivities. The guys actually got ready for the wedding ceremony in the new addition.
Most of the ductwork has been added overhead.
The insulation is complete on the outside walls in the rear bedroom and back hall.
We're thinking that it might be good to stain the T1-11 on the new addition weathered gray to match the original part of the cabin.
Update existing
The picture with the beautiful girls is the "before" picture.
The ceiling is finished.
The wall dividing the kitchen and living area is complete.
The pantry is just about completed just next to the stairs and can lights have been added to the ceiling.
Barn addition
The barn has had a lot of roof work done, but as with most barns, it is a continuing process.
